In Santa Barbara, I always look out for pelicans, gulls and skimmers. From the Stearns Wharf you can see Brown Pelicans perched on a restaurant roof, skimmers on the beach a few hundred meters east, grebes and loons in the winter, and street pigeons and Western gulls on the wharf itself.
